On Friday, February 22nd, HALO hosted its 14th Annual ArtReach Auction at the historic Brass on Baltimore. Thanks to the amazing support of our generous guests and donors, we raised over $200,000, making this our most successful year yet! It was truly an evening to remember. The event began with cocktail hour and a silent auction, hosted in the Grand Hall. From there guests moved to their seats and were served dinner and refreshments.
Next our COO, Nicole Gerken, had the honor of recognizing our 2019 Award Winners:
- Volunteers of the Year: Brittany English, Derek Yu, Allison Reeve, Elise Brummett, Sam Hoffman, and Cindy Bartko
- Advocates of the Year: Mariner Wealth Advisors, Perennial Places
- Artist of the Year: Carly Rae Robinson
- Hero of the Year: Sally Sallee
- Supporter of the Year: Greg Lam
- HALO Stars of the Year: Frankie and Madison
What followed was an eventful night filled with inspirational speakers, a live singing performance by our very own HALO youth Alesia, and a live auction. The Lost Wax Band closed out the evening with our favorite tunes and a whole lot of dancing.
As we reflect on our 2019 ArtReach Auction, we can't help but feel an enormous sense of gratitude! The success of this event and the funds raised will make such a deep and lasting impact for our HALO kids. Each dollar raised helps end the cycle of homelessness, and provides our youth the tools they need to heal and pursue a brighter future. Love heals. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
