Giving Tuesday marked the conclusion of this year's annual #ArtDoesGood fundraiser, and the outcome turned out better than anyone could expect. The money raised goes a long way towards providing love and healing to children worldwide who may not be receiving enough of it already.
This year we were fortunate enough to receive support from individuals, groups, families, and teams. Our most successful fundraisers included: the Gerken family, raising the largest amount at $2,274; and the Keller Family, reaching out and spreading HALO's message to the highest number of donors.

Additionally, HALO feels very lucky to have the generous sponsors support us and this campaign. These sponsors matched all of our donations dollar for dollar. Special thanks to Moroccanoil, Cnick Designs, Riley Toyota of Jefferson City, billyhodes.com, Mariner Wealth Advisors, and Carmen Tal. An extra token of gratitude goes to Shop Local KC, as well, for donated prizes to our fundraiser that raised the most and had the most donors.
The total raised thanks to the loving hard work of all our volunteers and donors was $22,269 to help HALO's mission worldwide. Thanks to you, we can support 111 children at our HALO Learning Centers for a whole year. Through this we can provide a haven of creativity, future-focused art and life skill programs, and professional development training for a variety of children of all ages.
111 children is certainly an accomplishment we can all be proud of, but when taking on a challenge as large as spreading love across the globe- HALO doesn't quit. Homeless kids live every day wishing and hoping for one more. One more place at the table. One more bed at a shelter. One more night where they feel safe.
This year, we watched the number of kids who need our support grow by 62%. With your help, we can make room for one more child to be supported by our HALO Family.
