Better Impact is connected to your email making it easy to communicate with HALO Staff. Under the "Contact" tab, you can find the HALO Staff member you need to reach out to. If you aren't sure who to reach out to, look at the job title next to the staff members' names. For any volunteer opportunity in the Learning Center, reach out to the Learning Center Manager; for any behind-the-scene volunteer opportunities, reach out to the Operations team.
Better Impact is the one-stop shop for all volunteer opportunities. Everything you'll need to know about volunteering can be found in Better Impact when you sign up (i.e. location, parking details, arrival time). HALO also uses Better Impact to track volunteer hours and data that is essential for grants and other avenues that provide HALO with resources to grow and impact more homeless and at-risk youth around the world.
After you sign up for an opportunity on Better Impact, you can find all necessary information under the "Schedule" tab on the opportunity. If there is additional information you are needing, please reach out to the appropriate HALO Staff supervising that opportunity through the "Contact" tab.
Yes! You can subscribe to Weekly Schedule Reminders. You'll only receive reminders when you are signed up for upcoming opportunities. You can also unsubscribe at any time as well.
Through My Impact App - Go to the "Schedule" tab and click on the yellow button "Subscribe to Schedule Reminders".
Through MyImpactPage.com - Go to "My Profile" tab and under "Subscriptions", click on "Subscribe to Weekly Schedule Reminders".
With Better Impact, volunteers can easily track their hours. On the Home page of your My Impact profile, you can see how many hours you've given for the week, year, and for your entire time at HALO!
