Easter with HALO

For many people, holidays bring an opportunity to relax, reconnect with friends and family, have fun, and reflect on those connections and fortunes we value most. Holidays are a time of joy, recreation, and celebration. Many words come to mind when we think about holidays, but by far, the most common is 'family.' Your family is always there for you to support, protect, and love you.

With your family, you are never alone. At HALO, it's no different. The kids we care for are supported, protected, and loved. We let them know this, especially on holidays, because those days are widely regarded as special, more so by children. Celebrating a holiday gives HALO kids that solid foundation of a family, and creating traditions gives them a sense of belonging, gratitude, and continuity.

Special thanks to Central Church for donating breakfast to the Jefferson City Girls Home! Making these memories and sharing these holiday experiences is great for our kids and impossible without the support of our community, HALO Tribe, and volunteers. HALO kids can have that foundation of a family because of you!

Be that foundation of a family and get involved!
