This year, our Learning Centers celebrated with events like the Jefferson City Fall Festival and the Kansas City Trunk or Treat, giving youth the chance to laugh and build lasting memories together. These moments of joy and belonging remind us why HALO exists — to provide the foundation of family for youth who need it most.
Jefferson City Fall Fest
The Jefferson City Learning Center hosted its first annual Fall Fest, bringing together HALO youth for a day full of fun and connection. They laughed, painted, raced in potato sacks, and enjoyed a delicious dinner surrounded by friends. The joy, energy, and sense of community made it a day to remember!
Kansas City Trunk or Treat
The Kansas City Learning Center hosted a fun Trunk or Treat, giving HALO youth the chance to enjoy the festivities and show off their creative costumes. A huge thank-you to all the volunteers who decorated their trunks, handed out candy, and organized indoor activities like pumpkin painting — you helped create lasting memories for our youth!
