HALO events would not be possible without the many volunteers that put their hearts into making HALO events a success.
This year's art auctions in both Jefferson City and Kansas City were no different.
The February Volunteers of the Month are all the volunteers that dedicated their time to deliver an incredible experience for the HALO Art Auctions.
Volunteers have been helping HALO for the entire month, preparing in numerous ways to make the event run smoothly. Volunteers came to the HALO office, taking home boxes of save-the-dates and invitations to send to guests. Other volunteers drove around to local businesses picking up auction donations. Some volunteers even helped us take photos so that the auction items were displayed nicely for guests on Qtego. Whether it was for an entire week, like students from St. Teresa's Academy (pictured on the right), or just an errand here and there, we could not be more thankful for our volunteers!

Silent Auction Table at Jefferson City Art Auction
Days before the event, many volunteers assisted in loading and unloading auction items from HALO offices to the venues themselves. With weather not so much on our side, all the hands made for light work, especially with nearly 200 auction packages among the two Art Auctions!
After loading in, volunteers helped make the venue spaces magical by setting up beautiful centerpieces and clear displays for the art and other auction packages.
Volunteers didn't stop there though. Our amazing HALO volunteers helped guests experience an empowering event by ushering attendees to their tables, taking pictures of the guests, clearing tables, answering questions, showcasing live auction items, and so much more! From start to finish of both art auctions, volunteers were dedicating their time and energy to HALO's largest fundraiser of the year.
