HALO COVID-19 Update

Dear HALO Family,

We hope you are well and safe. HALO continues to follow the CDC and WHO safety practices for the kids we serve and our dedicated volunteers and staff members across the globe. We are determined to provide our services and have been hard at work to be a resource for every child that is dependent upon HALO. Check out what we’ve been doing at HALO. In addition, we are using this time to continue to strengthen our programs and operations systems, so when this is over, we’ll be even stronger, as we anticipate our services being in more need than ever.

It’s been incredibly heartening to see people coming together virtually all over the world to support each other, support local businesses and restaurants, and to share and even innovate new resources. We truly are all in this together and can make a difference, big or small.

At HALO, we have to stay the course. Right now, the cause that’s at the heart of everything we do – providing housing, healing and education – is even more critical. HALO is the foundation of a family for homeless and at-risk children. We need to continue to provide support for these children, especially after we get through COVID-19.

For 15 years, our work of serving children in the greatest need has never been easy. Our team is made to conquer tough challenges, and we’ll get through this together. Thank you for your continued support of HALO’s mission. We are grateful for your confidence in us and the important work we do every day. If we can answer questions or address any concerns, please contact 816-472-4256 or nicolegerken@haloworldwide.org.

Please note the communication below for HALO Volunteers and Guests.

Sending Virtual Hugs,

Nicole Gerken, COO
