HALO Honors August Volunteers Of The Month

HALO would not be the same without the efforts of every single volunteer that serves the organization so well. Each month, we have the pleasure of choosing volunteers to recognize as our Volunteers of the Month. Read a bit about each one of them below!

Jefferson City

Kimberly Koenigsfeld:  Kimberly is a social work intern from Lincoln University. Kimberly is very kind hearted, and she loves to be a part of the HALO resident's lives. Kimberly brings so much knowledge to the position, and she is always willing to do anything to make a difference at HALO.

Samantha Hawkins: Samantha is a social work intern from Lincoln University. She came to HALO and immediately started making personal connections with our residents and children.  She participates in recreational activities with the residents in the evenings at the home, and they always look forward to seeing her. We are so happy she is a part of our HALO Family!

Kansas City

Megan Brenner: Megan is the Director of Operations & Client Services for Premier Financial Partners, which is an amazing partner to HALO.  Megan has used her skills in the financial industry, to help guide and educate our HALO youth on all things budgeting. Her natural abilities to work with teens and young adults on a one-on-one basis has proven to have a big impact on our youth. She teaches them how to manage their expenses, and build their savings, so they become stable and confident in maintaining their independence upon moving out of the HALO Home program.  We are so thankful to have someone with the skillset that Megan possess, and are grateful she has chosen HALO to share her passions with!  Thank you, Megan!
