HALO Honors October Volunteers of the Month

HALO would not be the same without the efforts of every single volunteer that serves the organization. Each month, we have the pleasure of choosing volunteers to recognize as our Volunteers of the Month. Read a bit about each one of them below!

Kansas City

Oganya Ukpo:

Oganya has only been with HALO for a short time, but we are so grateful that she has chosen to dedicate her time to us. From the start, Oganya came in with a creative and innovative mindset, and uses that to make our projects as unique, fun and engaging as possible. Oganya participates in weekly programming, sometimes two workshops per week, and provides our youth with an excellent role model while ensuring that they are having as much fun as possible while they're with us.

Jefferson City

Carol Collins:

Carol teaches life skills to our residents and always delivers special meals to the residents on Sunday’s. She comes to the home with a warm and friendly smile each week and is always ready to volunteer and help the HALO staff wherever she can.
