HALO Welcomes our New Interns

We're excited to introduce you to our new Kansas City interns! Meet Hannah, Lacy, and Taylor. Each volunteering their time and effort to extend the reach and impact of HALO.

Hannah, Operations Intern

"I first witnessed the impact HALO can make in a child’s life while volunteering at the Kansas City Learning Center. As a volunteer I was able to see the powerful healing that can occur when at-risk youth gain the unconditional love and support of a family. I believe in HALO’s holistic approach to empowerment through housing, healing and education and its capacity to transform young lives. It is a privilege to be a part of a team that is devoted to fostering a better future for children in need of love all over the world."

Lacy, Marketing Intern

"Throughout the years, I've been fortunate to spend a lot of time traveling abroad. Having been in some of the poorest of nations, my eyes have been opened to great need and also a hunger to help. I'm so excited to be a part of HALO because I"ll actually be part of an organization that helps feed hunger, alleviates hopelessness, and provides a future to kids in need. I'm honored to be here!"

Taylor, Program Intern

"I am excited to take on being an intern at HALO because of the values HALO holds at its core. Through this experience I am hoping to learn more about the youth at HALO and how their stories can be told through art. One of my main goals is to make sure these kiddos know how valuable their story is, while also conducting research to depict the impact HALO's programs have on their youth."

Thank you again ladies! We can't do what we do without the help of our interns and volunteers. We are so appreciative of you, and inspired by your desire to help others.
