This week, our kiddos created comic strips depicting themselves or others showing integrity. We discussed how having integrity means keeping promises, being honest, and doing the right thing. Some of our characters are standing up to bullies -- you'll see Pac Man standing up to a bullying ghost, and Spider Man asking Venom why he's so rude. Others are doing the right thing even though no one is looking, such as showing kindness to a younger child who was playing alone, or returning a dollar to its rightful owner. Another showed a character who made a mistake, and then not only apologized but took action to make up for it. This project was an awesome example of the unabashed creativity and kindness our kiddos show constantly. By the end everyone was able to explain the importance of having integrity.

What does integrity mean to you? What comes to mind when you think of acting with integrity in your daily life? Take a moment and internalize the lesson for yourself and follow in the footsteps of our kiddos brightening the world around them, one comic strip at a time.
