Jefferson City HALO Home Is Now Open

For many teens in Jefferson City, each day is filled with the uncertainty of not knowing where they’ll sleep that night, but one more child will spend one less day alone now that the HALO Home is open. Since Jan. 24, homeless youth now have a bed to sleep in and a safe place to call home.

In Jefferson City alone, 135 youths have been identified as homeless, but our new housing will help 48 of those gain the life skills they need to become fully independent adults.
