June Volunteers of the Month

Anyone can volunteer!

At HALO, we have volunteers from all stages of life that are wanting to make the world a better place. Our June Volunteers of the Month are evidence of how a servant heart can be in everyone, no matter the age or profession!

Jack Barker is one of our June Volunteers of the Month. He has supported HALO with artwork donations at multiple Art Auctions as a young artist. Jack is passionate about giving back; he spoke at HALO's Inspire Luncheon in New York on the importance of helping others, especially as a kid. Most recently, Jack joined our ClubHALO members to sponsor HALO youth in our Learning Centers through the campaign #ArtDoesGood. Jack is showing the world how kids and teens are the leading force in ending childhood homelessness. Jack is raising money to support 2 HALO kids in our Learning Center for a year. He is also a huge advocate for youth volunteerism and continues to give his time through social media to spread awareness about ClubHALO and HALO.

Thank you, Jack, for being an example of how empowered kids can help other kids!

Chad Horton is our June Volunteer of the Month from Jefferson City. Chad works with Finteris Wealth Management and graciously volunteered his time and services to teach a 3-week finance life skill workshop. He talked with the youth in the Boys Program and Girls Home about all things money while also bonding with them. From intense games of UNO and rock, paper, scissors, Chad brought his personality and expertise to build the foundation of a family for HALO youth in Jefferson City.

Thank you, Chad, for sharing your knowledge with HALO youth so they can achieve their full potential!

You, too, can make an impact on homeless kids lives. Share your abilities and talents in a meaningful way.
