Listen to These Inspiring Stories from Our HALO Children

Hearing our children’s stories of success reminds us of why we do what we do. It’s why the HALO family and volunteers dedicate countless hours of our lives to this mission: to provide a foundation of a family for children without one, and most importantly, love. Listen to these girls’ stories below to see how love can heal:

Marjai has been a part of the HALO family for five years in Kansas City. She shared her story through poetry at our 12th annual ArtReach Auction on Feb. 24.

Tia has been a part of the Kansas City HALO family for four years. She expressed her gratitude for HALO by performing a song at the 12th annual ArtReach Auction on Feb. 24.

Amari was a former HALO child at Jefferson City. She shared her powerful story of perseverance at the 9th annual ArtReach Auction in Jefferson City on March 3.
