March Volunteers of the Month

"Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” ~Elizabeth Andrew

This is true for our March Volunteers of the Month. Youth Rock Student Ministries from Jefferson City & Brayden Cox from Kansas City all have the heart for helping HALO in every capacity.

In Jefferson City, Youth Rock Student Ministries took time out of their crazy schedules to spend time at both the Boys Program and Girls Home. They helped clean both homes to give HALO youth the comfort and ease of a clean and organized living space.

Finishing up his senior year at Mizzou, Brayden Cox has been doing a phenomenal job as ClubHALO's first Intern for the past few months. He has taken on this virtual opportunity to educate compassionate kids all over about HALO and youth homelessness through engaging and high-quality content. Brayden also volunteered at the Jefferson City Art Auction to provide guidance on ways attendees' kids can give back.

Thank you, Youth Rock Student Ministries & Brayden, for taking the time to make a huge impact on HALO and especially HALO youth!

We are always looking for more amazing people to help in whatever capacity they can. Whether that's cleaning up a HALO Home, dropping off snacks at the Learning Center, or spending a few months interning with our welcoming HALO Staff, we would love to meet more people who have the heart to volunteer.
