Every month at HALO, we take a moment to shine a light on some wonderful people who take time out of their busy lives to give back. At HALO, every volunteer means so much to us because you never know how big of an impact you can make on one of our kids. We appreciate the compassion and mentorship so many of our volunteers have shown. This month, we are excited to announce Bob and Madison Daum from Kansas City and Donna Stallings from Jefferson City as our May Volunteers of the Month!
Our Jefferson City Volunteer of the Month is Donna Stallings. She volunteers at the HALO Boys Program and brings in new workshops like a robotics lab, which allow our youth to have hands-on experiences to learn new skills and gives them unique opportunities to learn and grow. She is also the Assistant Coach for the HALO Heat basketball team in Jefferson City. We are so appreciative of everything Donna has done and know that each and every one of the kids will value the lessons and knowledge she has provided. Thank you, Donna!
Our Kansas City Volunteers of the Month are Bob and Madison Daum! They are a great Wednesday night team. They're super consistent and always make sure the kids feel at home at HALO. They bring in ice cream and, go the extra mile to help our kids acquire hygiene and dignity items so they can feel more like themselves. Thank you, for providing the foundation of a family to our kids Bob and Madison!
