September Volunteers of the Month

HALO Volunteers show up for HALO youth every time they come to HALO, just like a family does.

Our Kansas City Volunteer of the Month is Thuy.

Thuy has been volunteering with HALO consistently for over a year now. She does a wonderful job helping HALO youth learn new life skills during our Kansas City Learning Center programs. Thuy has been helping HALO kids with art poetry, having fun, and reminding them to be kids!

Thank you, Thuy, for showing up for HALO youth in Kansas City providing the foundation of a family.

Our Jefferson City Volunteer of the Month is Raymond Okolo. This month, he has made a huge impact on the boys who participate in the Jefferson City Boys Program. Ray supports HALO staff in picking up the boys after school, welcoming the youth to HALO, and building relationships through conversations with the boys.

Thank you, Ray, for being a positive role model and showing up for the Jefferson City Boys Program youth.

Any time HALO Volunteers say "yes" to an opportunity at HALO, they show up for children who need us the most.

Read more about the impact of our amazing HALO Volunteers and see how you can say "yes" today.
