


In a one-point perspective, you create your horizon line- this is the line where the sky meets either the land or water. Place one dot on the line where you want your objects to “vanish” to. Draw your object, and use a ruler to extend the sides to the vanishing point.
In a two-point perspective, you create your horizon line- this is the line where the sky meets either the land or water. Place two dots on the line where you want your objects to “vanish”. Draw your object, and use a ruler to extend to each vanishing point on either side of the object.
They could create a name tag using a one-point perspective, make a landscape using a two-point perspective, or work on anything they'd like. Most of the kids tried to create a landscape or cityscape using a two-point perspective, and they did an excellent job!
