Summer is upon us in the U.S., which means hot weather and high humidity. There’s no question as to why some of the most popular summer outdoor activities are designed to beat the heat, including pool lounging and beach visits. HALO youth in India at the Ashirvad Orphanage were able to join in on the fun this past week and experience some beach fun of their own. The youth spent time swimming at a local beach off the Bay of Bengal coast near their home in Tuni, India.
In addition to swimming, the group got together for lunch and found many ways to expend energy by playing games, jumping and climbing around.
Behold the faces of a fun and successful beach day in Tuni, India! Share your tips to beat the heat below in the comments!
