The Dwell Podcast with HALO CEO and Founder, Rebecca Welsh

Talk about sisterhood!

Last month in a three-part podcast, Rebecca Welsh HALO Founder and CEO, was interviewed by Dwell. Created by Rebecca's sisters Vera Schmitz and Natalie Abbott, Dwell is a company dedicated to helping people memorize and meditate with one bible verse each month.

For Rebecca's episodes, the foundation is "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow." Isaiah 1:17

Each episode tackles a different aspect of HALO.

Starting with Rebecca's love for Asian studies and martial arts in elementary school, Natalie dives deeper into how Rebecca developed the idea of HALO.

The second episode discusses Rebecca's major health crisis and how it affected her perspective in life. The sisters explore how passion drives oneself and how to overcome hurdles.

Rebecca then pulls back the curtain and shows each little aspect of The HALO Foundation. From cooking meals, donating items, the mentors helping each kid, and the volunteers, every little factor changes the outcome.

She shares how her entire organization runs on the shoulders of volunteers and how her family has been changed by serving.
