Welcome HALO Interns!

As the New Year kicked off, we welcomed two new interns for the spring. The interns at HALO play a vital role in assisting us with our mission to aid homeless and at-risk youth. We can't wait to see their personal and professional development throughout their internship with HALO.

Emily Farney

Jefferson City Marketing Intern

"I chose HALO because I have always wanted to help people directly. HALO's internship allowed me to impact my community while advancing my career. Everyone has a story and the ability for me to use and create content to tell that story inspired me to choose HALO. Making an impact is something I strive to do every day. I am so excited about this opportunity to create a lasting impact."

Zariah Luster

Jefferson City Learning Center Program Coordinator Intern

"I just want to say Thank you to The HALO team for this internship opportunity! I know growth is in my future! The reason I chose The HALO Foundation for my internship is because I have a passion for helping others. I love the fact that HALO has a variety of ages to work with. I think HALO is a good fit for me as well because I love working and talking with youth about their futures and goals. I believe I am a good role model for the youth to admire. I am hoping by the end of my internship I will be a supportive link to helping change someone's life."

We are so excited that you chose HALO!
