Introducing our new Kansas City Marketing Intern, Margarita Madu!
After finishing her undergraduate courses at the University of Kansas, Margarita was looking for a summer internship before beginning her master's degree course load this fall.
"I chose HALO because I wanted to do something that benefits kids, but needed an internship where I could apply what I learned in college. HALO made me feel like I didn't need to choose one or the other. I could do both."
Introducing our new Jefferson City Marketing Intern, Logan Wilbers!
Logan has started her internship off strong by taking the initiative to get started as soon as possible! She has joined HALO youth and staff in the Girls Home with some programs and activities, to give her insight on the culture and family environment in Jefferson City.
"I chose HALO because I wanted to help young adults grow into strong women. I love everything HALO stands for and I am proud to be a part of something so amazing."
HALO is built on the work of our volunteers and interns. We are excited to see all that Margarita & Logan will do this summer and how they'll leave their marks on HALO.
