Kansas City, MO — Kansas City nonprofit HALO is hosting its 15th Annual ArtReach Auction at The Abbott (1901 Cherry Street Kansas City, MO 64108) on Fri., Feb. 28, 2020, from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Honorary Co-Chairs are Annie & Ryan Anderson and Katrina & John Scott. Diamond Sponsors are Mariner Wealth Advisors and Platform Ventures.
As featured on The CBS Evening News, the Annual ArtReach Auction features orphan artwork from around the world, artwork from local and nationally recognized artists, silent and live auction items, dinner and entertainment. Pictures from the 2019 event are available to view on the HALO Facebook page. Individual tickets are $150. Sponsor opportunities are still available. Levels include: Diamond $15,000, Platinum $10,000, Gold $5,000, Table Captain $1,500 and Table Host $500. Sponsorship packet details are here. Proceeds benefit homeless and at-risk children.
“For 15 years, HALO has provided housing, healing and education to thousands of homeless and at-risk children around the world,” said HALO Founder and CEO Rebecca Welsh. “We serve as the foundation of a family for children without one and invite the community to join us on Feb. 28 at our most important fundraiser of the year, so we can continue to help one more child spend one less day alone.”
HALO announces its 2020 Award Winners who will be honored at the event: Mary Kemper Wolf and the HALO Advocate Board as Advocates; Michelle Heath-Fisher and Todd Lowenstein as Volunteers; Julie Arnold as Artist; and Veronica Beard and Haverty Family Foundation as Supporters. It takes many to make HALO a success; these individuals and companies are recognized for their exceptional involvement and commitment.
“We are excited to recognize our 2020 HALO Award Winners,” said Welsh. “They have raised thousands of dollars to support more than 1,400 HALO children in six countries, expanded our HALO mission within the Kansas City community, and given countless hours creating art that has changed lives.”
