This month we discussed what it looks and feels like to be in a leadership role.
Some of the kiddos talked about how happy it made them to lead their younger siblings, and how much they loved the leaders in their lives such as their parents or teachers.
The masks are depictions of what leadership feels like to them. One kiddo wrote “humble” on hers, because she recognized humility as an important character trait of a strong leader.

We also had our youth complete a pumpkin painting project which facilitated discussion about what a "good" leader and a "bad" leader look like, while also giving the kiddos a chance to participate in decorating pumpkins for Halloween.
